Bruce Groom, Senior Vice President, Residential Construction

Bruce joined Seattle Mortgage in September 2002 as manager of the Income Property Group. He has more than 30 years of experience in real estate lending and commercial banking. Bruce is also an associate with Seattle Capital Corp., an affiliated equity and mezzanine financing company that is part of the Seattle Financial Group.

Dean Mix, Vice President/Residential Loan Construction

Dean has been with Seattle Financial Group for 16 years. He started in 1990 as a Residential Loan Officer for Seattle Mortgage Company. He was a top producer during his six years in the Southcenter Branch. In 1997, Dean was promoted to the Residential Construction Department. His background in lending was a great stepping stone into this department, as he was able to work with many builders and developers during his early years understanding their needs and product requirements. He understands the importance of working together in partnership with his clients. Since Dean joined the Residential Construction Department, annual production has grown from $65 Million in 1997 to over $250 Million in 2006.

Bryan Hancock, Loan Officer

Bryan Hancock, Vice President/Residential Loan Construction

Bryan joined Seattle Savings Bank in May of 2005. He has actively been involved in residential construction lending and administration for over 18 years. Bryan graduated from Central Washington University after attending Western Washington University. Bryan worked as a manager of the construction loan department for Pioneer Bank in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and then he worked for Washington Mutual for over nine years in the Appraisal Department. He has relationships with clients in Alaska, Seattle, Washington metropolitan region and the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area. Bryan’s knowledge with construction lending and administration along with his appraisal background provides a broad experience in construction management and market analyses.
